About the Role:

As a Technical Support Engineer 2 at Datadog, you’ll act as a product expert, working directly with customers to resolve issues, provide technical guidance, and ensure a world-class customer experience. You will troubleshoot across Datadog’s 600+ integrations, contribute to demos, and become a certified specialist in designated product areas. This role is ideal for someone passionate about SaaS, cloud technologies, and problem-solving.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide technical support via tickets, chat, and screen-sharing sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and reproduce customer-reported issues across Datadog’s integrations.
  • Become demo certified and lead customer-facing product demonstrations.
  • Share customer feedback with product teams to improve features and services.
  • Train to specialize in one or more Datadog product areas.
  • Collaborate onsite 3–5 days a week in the Bangalore office.
  • Work a rotating schedule, including weekends.

Key Technical Skills:

Technical Support, SaaS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Troubleshooting, Programming (basic knowledge), Linux, Cloud Monitoring Tools, Customer Communication

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in technical support at a SaaS company.
  • Skilled in using tools such as Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting background with programming or technical knowledge.
  • Familiar with Linux basics and eager to deepen technical expertise.
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Curious learner, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
  • Comfortable working flexible schedules including weekends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
